Expressing Myself

Hello, everyone.
                      Here i introduce myself. I, Sweta. My father works as a gramsevak and my mother is house wife. I live in a nuclear family. I  completed my  S.S.C in 2022 with 81.16 %. I completed my H.S.C in  2024 with 84.71 %. Currently, I am studying in a B.A course with english as my main subject.
                       
                     My hobbies are reading and travelling. My skills are include communication, time management,   critical & creative writing skill. My lifetime goal is to clear the UPSC exam and become an ias officer.

Experiencing Translation Through Fiction

Introduction :-   This task has been assigned by Archita ma'am   as part of our classroom activity for unit 3 & 4 : Translation studies. The purpose of this activity is to give us hands-on experience in translating a paragraph from Gujrati or Hindi fiction into English. Through this exercise, we not only practice the skill of translation but also reflect on important aspects such as equivalence, untranslatability, cultural gaps, and the effectiveness of translation tools. This blog is my response to the given task.
